Liftoff is the opening event for Orbital and it aims to help the teams get started with their Orbital project. For Orbital 25 specifically, Liftoff will be held online from 12 to 29 May, 2025.
The event consists of the following activities:

- (Compulsory) Meet-your-adviserÂ
- (Compulsory) Poster & video submission
- (Compulsory for Artemis Teams) Mentor matching
